Ben and Mable Kahle started the Kall Inn supper club in 1945 in Kieler, WI. It was the 2nd place to have a television in Kieler, Chop’s grandparents, Chris and Mary Pickel, had the first television in Kieler. The location is now PJ’s Pub and Hall ran by Chop and Julie’s nephews, Peter Murphy and Julius Moor. Several years later the current location of the Kall Inn became available. Wayne and Mary Kahle, with the help of their 5 children continued to carry on the tradition of Ben and Mable. It was closed down for approximately 8 years.

Chop’s parents, Paul and Velma Moor, purchased the 3 Mile House in 1980. Chop and Julie worked along side them and purchased it in 1997. They raised their 4 children in the business and they all worked there at one time or another. Both of Chop and Julie’s siblings helped with the family business also. They sold the 3mile In 2017. Fast forward to 2020, Chop and Julie were approached by current owners, Jeff and CeAnne Kaiser, to run the Kall Inn. Chop, Julie, their daughter, Allie, Velma, and Chop’s sister, Paula are continuing to carry the old supper club feel and keeping the family tradition going. We welcome you to join us for great food, homemade recipes, fine cocktails, and our Midwestern hospitality. Come in and have a good one. Cheers.

Fun fact: Chop and Julie had their first date at the Kall Inn supper club in 1979. Isn’t it funny how life works out sometimes?
